AUMA Digital Twin Platform
Detailed information about a specific physical AUMA device is available via an asset administration shell for instance assets. Each device is identified by its serial number.
The asset administration shell provides an exact digital representation of the device as supplied. It provides all device-specific information in a centralised and up-to-date manner, including configurations, relevant parameters, user documentation and associated certifications. This means that it is always possible to see clearly and transparently what has actually been installed.
At the heart of the asset administration shell is the digital name plate, which is attached to the AUMA device during the manufacturing process at the AUMA factory. The QR code on the name plate of the device provides direct access to all data.
For plant operators and maintenance staff, efforts required for retrieval and storage will considerably be reduced. The required information is available directly at the site and is clearly assigned to the relevant device. Faults caused by outdated or incomplete documents are avoided.
Furthermore, the instance-specific data can be exported in a standardised machine-readable format (AASX) and integrated into existing asset management systems. This enables unique identification, digital management and automated processing of the devices.
The result: reduced administrative workload, improved data quality and a reliable digital data foundation for operation, service and asset management throughout the entire lifecycle of your AUMA product.

The asset administration shell of the instance category for TIGRON actuators is currently available for units manufactured on or after DD.MM.2026. This can be identified by the two QR codes on the name plate. Further AUMA product types are under preparation.
On site at the installation, you can access the data for your specific AUMA device directly via your smartphone (asset administration shell for instance assets):
A connection to the AUMA Digital Twin platform is established, and the asset administration shell appears immediately, displaying all the specific data relating to your device.
You can also access the data at any time via a web browser. Open the AUMA Digital Twin Platform and enter the serial number and then the PIN code for your AUMA device in the right-hand column. You will find both on the name plate of your device and in the device documentation.
