With the multi-turn actuators SA 07.2 – SA 16.2 / SA 25.1 – SA 48.1, AUMA covers a torque range of up to 32,000 Nm.
Torques up to 120,000 Nm can be achieved by combining a multi-turn actuator with the GHT multi-turn gearbox.

If the effective direction must be displaced by 90°, combinations of multi-turn actuators SA 07.2 – SA 16.2 / SA 25.1 – SA 48.1 and GK bevel gearboxes are used.
The output torque can be considerably multiplied.

A sophisticated sealing system combined with excellent corrosion protection properties qualify AUMA actuators for underwater use.
Double sealed cable glands at the particularly crucial electrical connection safely prevent any ingress of water. Inner seals at all housing covers, sometimes coming in pairs, as well as a solid shaft made of stainless steel complete the universal concept.

Explosion-proof devices must be used in plants where potentially explosive atmospheres are likely to occur. These devices are designed so that they will not act as an ignition source. They neither generate ignition sparks, nor hot surface temperatures.

Multi-turn actuators
With SAVEx .2 multi-turn actuators for open-close duty paired with intelligent ACVExC 01.2 actuator controls, the proven AUMA SAEx/SAREx range is enhanced by variable speed models.
SAVEx multi-turn actuators are rated for open-close duty and positioning duty (classes A and B) / (short-time duty S2 - 15 min). Special sizing for longer running times is available for the S2 - 30 min duty.

Multi-turn actuators
The "small" electric globe valve actuator range with separate MEC controls.
All parameters are directly set at the MEC controls. The controls contain switchgear, power supply unit, interface to the DCS. The controls automatically switch the actuator off once the valve end position is reached, motor overheating is detected or a torque overload has occurred.
All housing components of the actuator are made of bronze, all external screws are made of stainless steel. This ensures complete resistance against seawater even over a longer time period. The housing of MEC controls is made of aluminium provided with AUMA powder coating also achieving a premium corrosion resistance.
The actuators are designed for open-close duty and positioning duty (classes A and B) / (short-time duty S2 - 15 min), the variant for modulating duty (class C) S4 - 40%.
