GF series of gearboxes are specially used for actuation of Louvers, Dampers and Butterfly Valves, which require quarter-turn applications. Clockwise rotation at the input shaft results in clockwise movement at the lever.

Multi-turn actuators
AUMA India SA/SAR actuator with SIL capability are specifically designed for the functional safety with safety integrity level upto - SIL 3 suitable for highest safety requirements in accordance with IEC 61508:2010 standard.
The actuators come with advanced control technology, world-calss quality for meeting the stringent SIL specification. The actuators are equipped with an absolute encoder for the accurate direct measurement of limit & torque and an additional SIL module specially designed for the execution of the safety functions along with additional limit switches. In case of an emergency at the plant and when requesting a safety function, the standard logic of actuator controls is by-passed and the safety function is performed via the SIL module. Consequently, the safety function always overrules standard operation.
Actuators SA3 – SA100 for Open-close duty with SIL controls are rated for short-time duty S2 - 15 min.
Actuators SAR3 – SAR100 with SIL controls are designed for modulating or regulating duty S4 - 25%.
Auma India SA/SAR actuators with SIL controls are certified by TUV Nord for use in safety systems with following suitable safety functions in case of emergency:

Actuators SA3 – SA100 for Open-close duty are rated for short-time duty S2 - 15 min. Special versions for S2-30 min duty are also available.
Actuaors SA3- SA100 are also availble for inching duty.
Actuators SAR3 – SAR100 are designed for modulating or regulating duty S4 - 25%.
SA/SAR range actautors comes with various versions of epac integral controls technology from simple Open-close control to the microcontrolled version with logging of operating data or fieldbus interface.

AUMA India ABG.2 Bevel Gearboxes are designed to operate all types of rising or non-rising stem gate valves with higher torque requirements. The design allows for integrating the output drive within the gearbox, thus optimizing the gearbox sizes.

Linear actuators
AUMA offers customized actuation solution for dampers, chutes, gates, diverters or flap applications, based on thrust and stroke length requirement. AUMA trunion mounted actuators provide linear travel. An attachment to the actuator converts output torque of multi-turn actuator into an axial thrust.
AUMA has standardized the actuator trunion mounting arrangement for certain stroke lengths for SA(R)3 to SA(R)30 actuators.
