Since the 1970s, AUMA has been actively involved in the certification and supply of electric actuators for nuclear power plants. Ever since, both our organisation and our products have been consistently and continuously adapted to the specific, ever increasing requirements of the nuclear industry.

Our products excel by their long lifetime and their low-weight modular design which makes them very compact. Plug-in electrical connections warrant for easy commissioning and maintenance. Resilient supply chains ensure spare parts and replacement devices supply across the entire lifetime of the installations.

Global certification

AUMA has been certified in accordance with the KTA1401, ISO9001, ISO19443, HAF 604 regulations and meets the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and NQA-1 as well as of other international customer-specific management specifications.

Qualification of our devices is based on the IEEE382, RCC-E regulations and is complimented by additional evidence of suitability for plant design specific requirement profiles.

Qualifications according to current regulations allow use in the latest plant types such as EPR, AP1000, APR1400, Hualong 1 (CGN and CNNC), HTGR, FBR, VVER, etc.
