Solid models

The basis for the solid models are 3D CAD data. This data has been modelled to only visualise the outer shape. You may display the solid models according to device type or according to the order or quotation number.

According to device type and according to order or quotation number:

ACIS Format (.sat): Appropriate for e.g. Autodesk Inventor
IGES Format (.igs): Neutral 3D CAD data format
STEP Format (.stp): Current neutral 3D data format
Portable Document Format (.pdf): Readable with Adobe Acrobat 3D from version 8

Additionally with the device type:

Parasolid Format (.x_t): The best format for all Parasolid-based CAD systems like Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Pro Engineer, etc.
Stereolithographie (.stl): The stereolithographic 3D data format is mainly used in production and represents a standard entry format to create prototypes.
