We will process the data we have received from you within the context of your application to verify your aptitude for the position (or possibly other vacancies in our company) and to execute the application procedure.


Purposes and legal basis of the processed data.

We will process your personal data while respecting the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act [Bundesdatenschutzgesetzes-Neu (BDSG-Neu)] as well as further binding legislation.

Primary legal basis for the processing of your personal data within the framework of this application procedure is Art 6(1) point b) GDPR in combination with § 26 BDSG-neu Therefore, processing of data required within the context of the decision on the conclusion of an employment contract is considered as lawful.

Should the data still be required once the application procedure is complete, possibly for legal action, data processing on the basis of the conditions listed in Art. 6 GDPR , in particular in for the for the purposes of the legitimate interests in compliance with Art. 6(1) point f) GDPR shall be lawful. Our interest will be either establishment or prevention of claims.

Should we process your personal data for purposes not mentioned above, we will inform you prior to processing.


Data recipients within the EU

Within our company, only those persons or bodies (e.g. technical department, General Management, Human Resources) requiring them for the application process will receive your personal data.


Your applicant data will be reviewed by Human Resources after receipt of your applications. Suitable applications will be internally transferred to the heads of department for the respective vacancy. The further procedure will then be agreed. Within the company, only those persons may access your data who require the data for the correct procedure of our application procedure.


Storage periods

Data by candidates will be stored for the duration of the respective application procedure, generally up to a maximum of six months.

Should you have agreed to further storage of your personal data, your data will be transferred to our candidate pool.

Should you have been offered a positions within the framework of application procedure, the data from the candidate data system will be transferred to our staff information system.


Your rights as "data subjects"

Under the address mentioned above you may claim access to personal data which have been collected concerning yourself. Furthermore, under specific conditions, you shall have the right to rectification or erasure of your personal data. In addition, you may have the right to restriction of processing of your data as well as a right to receive personal data concerning yourself which you have provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable and interoperable format.

Furthermore you have a right to withdraw your consent to processing within the framework of the statutory regulations. The same applies to the right to data portability.

Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the aforementioned data protection officers or a supervisory authority.
