On 15 July 2023, the town of Muellheim held an volunteers‘ action day together with associations and non-profit organisations. Within the framework of this event, it was announced that AUMA would donate 50,000 euros to the "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" ["Germany's Relief Coalition"] charitable organisation to support people in the Turkish and Syrian areas hit by the earthquake.
The earthquake on 6 February 2023 was disastrous: numerous people lost their lives, their homes, or their means of existence. Although some months have passed since the catastrophic natural event, destruction is still enormous, and people urgently require support.
With the donation, AUMA would like to support the people in the affected region. The symbolic cheque to the amount of 50,000 euros was handed over to the representatives of the town of Muellheim (left) by the chairman of the AUMA works council and his deputy (right).
