A new design and more ...
Muellheim, December 13, 2007
After 3.5 years, the time has come for a new design!
Not just as a kind of revision but also to adapt to the new AUMA design guidelines.
At the same time, we have used this opportunity for some functional improvements:
1. Navigation: When rolling the mouse pointer over the main menu items (News, Products, Service, ...) the first menu level drops down, allowing direct selection of these menu items. This saves a mouse-click and immediately shows the different items listed under this topic.
2. Search: The search function was moved from the top navigation to the main section of the page which makes the use of the function much easier.
3. Addresses: The contact information system was separated from the main navigation. This saves another mouse-click.
4. Login area: The login area was moved from the top navigation to the right section and is available on any page.
After logging in, the page with the protected services is directly accessed. The same applies here: you need less clicks to reach your target!
And yet, you still can save another click:
Depending on the language selected in your browser, either the English or the German start page will open.

Badrudin Stanicki passed the exam for industrial mechanics with the overall grade "very good". He also prepared for the theoretical exam of the vocational school in Schopfheim, which he passed with the top grade 1.0 "very good".
He also obtained the entrance qualification for the university of applied science with the top grade 1.0 (very good). Stanicki achieved the best exam results since the vocational school in Schopfheim came into existence. He received the Badenova Technical Prize worth 300 Euros, the Physics Prize worth 100 Euros, the Book Prize of the local Chamber of Commerce as well as 500 Euros by AUMA. Badrudin Stanicki spent some of the money on books for his classmates, "since everybody did their personal best during the exams," says Stanicki.

Currenty, Baldruin Stanicki works skilled worker in sample and fixture design department which belongs to the AUMA apprentices' workshop. Here, he can impart his knowledge to the new industrial and production mechanic apprentices. Mr Stanicki continues this activity until the end of this year and will study technical physics once he has completed the alternative civilian service.
Felix Dietsche also passed the practical exam for production mechanics with the grade "very good". His tasks included among others the materials planning and assembly of a gearbox which converts rotary movements into linear movements.
Now that he has successfully completed his apprenticeship, Felix Dietsche will work as skilled worker in final inspection.
Every year, AUMA trains up to eight apprentices as production mechanics, electronic engineers for industrial engineering, industrial mechanics and industrial clerks.
